WELCOME TO CHORUS
Our History
1991
Chorus Church (formally Sonrise Christian Life Centre) started with a handful of people in a Community Hall in Beechboro in 1991. The church was founded and pioneered by Pastor Wayne and Tammy Trompp. The church grew, God did great things and at 7 years old the church was offered to buy an old Baptist Church in the Beechboro neighbourhood. The church gathered and rallied to buy the land and building and ever since then we have been committed to seeing people grow in God, and love their neighbour. Chorus Church is committed to building the church, families, changing the city, and continuing to grow to reach everyone in the city of Perth.
2018
Pastor Wayne Trompp graduated to Heaven on 14th October 2018, where he finished the race and kept the faith.
2019
Pastor Caleb and Kahlia Ma became the Senior Pastors of Chorus Church.
2021
Launched Chorus Church.
On earth as it is is heaven
or as we like to say (In Perth, as it is in Heaven)
Chorus Church exists to be a home that looks like heaven.
Our vision is to build big people while becoming like Jesus, in community while growing in faith.
Heaven is described as people of every tribe, tongue, creed and nation. Together under one name, Jesus. Our hope is that every person that walks into our services and gatherings would be able to see themselves. No matter your story or background, you are welcome and you are loved; welcome home.
