REACHING IN AND BEYOND OUR COMMUNITY
Our purpose is to help others in and beyond our community connect to God and others. Here’s a few projects where we’re serving or supporting others. Come join us!
Mexico Mission
Each summer a team of our own high schoolers and adults raises over $20,000 and heads down to Mexico to build homes for the needy. We bring our tools and materials to an Oaxacan Indian Migrant Village, just South of Ensenada in an area called Maneadero and spend a week building homes and bringing hope. We enjoy a great relationship with Let The Little Children Come orphanage and their Agua Viva Day Care program. Each year we feel we receive more than we give. Take a look. For more info, contact Josh Axene.
International Missions
Lima, Peru. Our very own, Joy & Jordan Allen, are missionaries with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) and are currently working to establish a new base with YWAM in Cuzco, Peru. For more info or to support the Allens, visit their website.
Berlin, Germany. Ben and Sarah Carey with The Christian and Missionary Alliance, serve in Berlin helping to establish a community of followers in Mitte, Berlin. Find out more.
Kids Hope USA
Chorus Church is a proud Kids Hope USA partner at La Vorgna Elementary School. One child, one hour is the heart of KIDS HOPE USA. One caring adult mentoring an at-risk child one hour every week. When kids feel loved and valued, they are better able to learn, grow, and succeed. If you are interested in becoming a mentor, email info@choruschurch.com and check out the website at kidshopeusa.com
Adopt-a-Highway Project
Chorus Church has officially joined the ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY program. We’ve “adopted” a section of Winchester Rd/SR79 from Thompson to Abelia…our signs are already out there! We’re thrilled with this visibility for Chorus and the opportunity to serve our community. Meet us on the 3rd Saturday each month as we clean up our highway. We meet at Starbucks on Benton at 7am and we’re done by 8:30am. Serve and get a little exercise! For more info: info@choruschurch.com or Tom and Debbie Parnakian.
